Over last few years China and Russia reinvented themselves
as economic powers by mainly allowing private and foreign
investments. Two corn stones of capitalism. At the same time,
the capitalism in US and Europe seems at the edge of complete
collapse. In response to current economic crisis, capitalist
governments to large extent are nationalizing financial institutions
and increasing state control. This is a move away from capitalism towards Marxist economy.
In is interesting to notice that the two so called opposing economic models are remarkably similar. Both models are obsessed with growth and promote increasing centralized control.
